Digital information uses alphanumeric characters which don’t occur again and again which makes conversion of information to digital data very easy. Also, there are fewer chances of data loss which happens frequently in analog to digital change.

Large numbers of switches placed at frequent intervals are used in the input device which is used for conversion of an analog data to digital data. These switches include a check to see if any one of them is pressed in a single polling time period. Pressing two switches or a single switch would lead to corruption of data.

Hence, we can say that Digital information is much safer and much convenient to use as compared to analog method. This accounts for the reason behind increasing popularity of Digital Information.
